Why stainless steel?

The two mains reasons are durability and non-toxicity. In terms of durability, few things are as tough as cold rolled stainless steel. This stuff is really built to last and surivive your child's terrible twos, terrible...threes, fearsome fours, ferocious fives, scary sixes, seriously? sevens and beyond. In terms of non-toxicity, 304 18/8 stainless steel is food safe and, along with glass and porcelein, are considered the safest for eating and drinking. Plastics and plastic alternatives, especially when combinbed with heated food or drink, are siginificantly more likely to leach chemicals (phthalates, BPA, Bisphenol C (often found in BPA free products)) into the food and drink. Over time, these chemicals accumualte in the body and can have a range of negative effects. Please refer to our blog and social media for ongoing updates on research in this subject matter.

Have you had your products independently lab tested?

Yes. We went above and beyond what is federally required of stainless steel products. We use NSL Analytical Laboratories as a nationally recgonized and certified independent third party tester of children's products. All of our items passed for a robust test of chemicals, including mercury, copper, nickel, arsenic, barium, chromium, lead, selenium, and antimony. The solubility test ensures that no toxic chemicals will leach into your child's food and drink. With our products, you can stop worrying about bpa, bpa alternatives, phthalates, and other toxic chemicals! Our final children's safety certification will be posted shortly.

What is the return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of your order date for orders placed on StainlessBaby.com and shipping within the contiguous United States. Items must be received in their original condition in order to process refund. After we receive your returned items, we will process your refund onto your original form of payment. Original shipping and handling fees and "Duties & Taxes Reimbursements" will not be refunded. Please allow 5-10 business days from receipt of your returned item(s) for your refund to post. Please note that all sales to Hawaii & Alaska are final. What is the warranty?

We guarantee the function of your product for 1 year. Loss of functionality does not include the scratches, dents and dings a product will incur during normal use. When we receive a valid warranty claim for a product purchased from us, we will either repair the relevant defect or replace the product. If we are unable to repair or replace the product within a reasonable time, the customer will be entitled to a full refund upon the prompt return of the product to us. We will pay for shipment of repaired or replaced products to customer and customer will be responsible for return shipment of the product to us.

Where do you currently ship?

We currently ship only within the United States and only to the lower 48 states. We do not currently ship to Alaska and Hawaii, but hope to soon.

Do you offer gift message options?

Yes! Just leave a note in your order and we will write a hand written note to include with the shipment to your gift recipient! We will also include an invoice that does not display the price paid.

All orders are processed within approximately 1 to 3 business days after the order is placed. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be processed within 1 to 3 business days, Monday through Friday. Please remember that orders cannot be edited once process begins. All processing times are estimates and may be subject to change.
